Mixed-Income Housing
Empowering neighbors as they seek stable housing
Flourishing through stable housing
Our Mixed-Income Housing Programs aim to empower neighbors in Blythe Oldfield and College Hill through community programming, while also building and renovating homes in the neighborhoods we serve, then sell them below market value to low-to-moderate income individuals and families—especially current residents—to increase homeownership in historically overlooked areas of East Cleveland.
Offerings
Through an array of housing programs, we aim to walk alongside neighbors as they work towards the goal of stable housing.
Affordable Housing Program
The Affordable Housing Program at City Fields provides first-time homebuyers the opportunity to live in stable and safe homes by offering newly constructed and remodeled homes below market value and often paired with down-payment assistance.
Pre-Purchase Homebuyer Education
Pre-Purchase Homebuyer Workshops are open to the community. These workshops cover financial management, credit, and the home purchasing process. Certificates from this program can be utilized for THDA and other government loans, and certificates are required for down-payment assistance if purchasing a City Fields home. Workshops are held on a quarterly basis with 2 in Blythe Oldfield and 2 in College Hill per year.
Good Neighbor Workshop
Provides financial education, tenant rights, how to avoid rental scams, and ways to be involved in the neighborhood. These workshops are hosted on a quarterly basis with 2 in Blythe Oldfield and 2 in College Hill per year.
